This is how it works – anyone moving or just no longer in need of items in good condition can donate those items to Helping Horses.  We will then store those items until we have a horse in need.  Anyone needing a little extra help can contact Helping Horses to get that help.  You will be asked to fill out a Request Form which will be reviewed by Helping Horses so we can determine how we can help. 

Helping Horses does not take in horses. 

Items that we do accept:

  • Money
  • Equipment – buckets, brooms, hoses, shovels, etc.
  • Tack – halters, blankets, bridles, saddles, etc.
  • Supplies – bandages, wraps, fly spray, wormers, etc.
  • Medications – unopened and unused
  • Hay in good, clean condition
  • Unopened bags of grain
  • Shavings and Straw
